Everyone knows Honey Nut Cheerios are better than the plain ones.

Hope it pisses off the fundies. I may have to go but some Cheerios.

is that there isn't a white male involved.

Gracie is a living monument to her mother's preference to a black man over a white one -- and now that she has a little brother coming, it means her mom had sex with him MORE than once -- probably WILLINGLY!!!

This Swiffer commercial, on the other hand (and if you'll pardon the expression), has barely made a ripple because it's the lesser of two evils. A black woman desiring a white man, while not "ideal," is at the very least "logical!"

makes the baggers choke on their own crazy -- wot a white woman wit a black man????

sort of like it's okay to see lesbians having sex together, it's in movies and wherever fairly frequently. but woah, have two male gays having sex in semi main stream and the tops blow off!

give a thought to the races of the couple but I was pleased to note that Swiffer had selected a person with a physical impairment for the ad.

Happy for the progress we have made as a people and the love shown.

Sad because it reminds me of myself. My father is Mexican and my mother is a white woman. Still married and have a very close knit family, meaning my parents, 2 sisters, brother and myself. My mother's mom never accepted us. To this date, I'm 28, I have not been around her more then 4 times. My parents named me Pedro, but often people just call me Pete. But to her I'm simply kid, she has never acknowledged my name not even through phone calls.

In the past my mother would get really depressed about it, but like my father would tell her as long as you have our love that is all you need.

Hell, one time my parents and my mom's sister were throwing a joint birthday party for a cousin of mine and myself. We share birthdays. Anyways I was around 6 and my grand mother was invited. She came and she only brought my cousin a present and not me. At the time I didn't understand, but I remember her words. I ran out of money for the kid.

did your mom's sister ever try to do anything to change her mind or at least her behavior ?

if i was her i would tell her not to get my kid anything unless she was going to treat all grandkids equally.

She'll raise a great puppy.

Did anyone else hear about Cheerios going GMO-free?

I like the idea of Cheerios but the price? Argh. I buy the Aldi's version. But if Cheerios is indeed free of GMOs, I'd pony up the extra $2.30.

Doesn't that expression remind you of Michelle Obama when she's reading the riot act to the Republicans?

I am glad for the ad but lets be honest. The idea that they were able to make this ad despite the efforts of racists is kind of simplistic.

They made this ad BECAUSE of the controversy. They want to sell MORE of their PRODUCT and a newsworthy exploitation is gold to a corporation.

But hey, she is cute as hell and from Oklahoma too.
