8% of polled Democrats would vote for the republican.
16% of polled Republicans would vote for the Democrat.

I find that... fascinating. Hopeful? Maybe something along those lines.

The reason's simple: they have no one else. Jeb is so bad his own mother is campaigning against him, Christie's headed to jail, Rand Paul is too insane for most of the Republicans to deal with, Cruz has a Canadian birth certificate and Marco Rubio...well, they'll think of something.

They can sell the Cantor-Rodgers ticket as a combination of fiscal austerity and deeply held faith. And no one will vote for the Rush Limbaugh-Sean Hannity ticket they were thinking of.
