Even Republicans Now View The Iraq War As A Failure

Even Republicans Now View The Iraq War As A Failure

Republicans are finally done defending the Iraq war.

GOP voters spent years applying a positive spin to the central part of George W. Bush's legacy, but a poll released Friday revealed a significant shift in public opinion.

The key detail from the latest USA Today/Pew Research Center poll:

The biggest shift in attitudes toward the Iraq War came among Republicans and those who lean to the GOP. In 2011, 65% of them said the war had succeeded; now just 38% do. A double-digit gap between Republican and Democrat views in 2011 has now been largely erased.

But the poll showed that 52 percent of Republicans still believe it was the right decision to invade Iraq in 2003.

Overall, 52 percent of Americans said that the U.S. has mostly failed to achieve its goals in Iraq — a change from 2011, when 56 percent said the U.S. had mostly succeeded.

The poll didn't indicate that Republicans have common sense.

to them on Tuesday night.

He represents Bushco's illegal war and they do not want to even see what they did to so many Americans not to mention the poor Iraqis.

Even Republicons have to face the ugly Karmic Krap-Heap of death, disability, torture, destruction and debt they have created by pimping the deliberate lies and deception of xCommander AWOL Bush & Dickie "Five-Military-Deferments" Cheney and the cabal of Republicon Chickenhawks & War Profiteers.

The Republicons need to administer themselves a Massive Soul Enema to get right with The Lord. They could start by arresting and turning over to International Authorities for trial their own party's most egregious War Criminals.

Very similar to Russian roulette but with more severe consequences (although it's just as unpredictable).

If McInsane had won Iraq would still be a "smashing" success. Of course we would probably be in Iran by now if that had happened.
