Damn, and I was going to send in my resume! Apparently, this is really just proof that Christie didn't know Wildstein all that well. Really?
It came with no actual job description.
In the end, it had only one occupant, and he didnt even have to submit a résumé.
Nobody seemed to have the vaguest idea what he was really doing.
But he was paid $15O,020.
This is a good one:

(1,896 posts)I've gotten about 20 interviews (not including 2nd & 3rd interviews (or even 4th in two cases) for the same job) and I haven't been able to find suitable employment. Who knew you just had to "not really know" the governor to land a great gig! No resume needed.
They should name a toll booth after the guy. It will always be the lane that's closed. In fact every time I come up to a toll plaza in the future, I'll start referring to the booth that's closed as the Wildstein lane!

(1,896 posts)At least until all of this is over. I shouldn't say that. There are plenty of other people on here that are all over Christie.
Thanks for posting.

(7,712 posts)The Newark Star Ledger reported in February 2012 that critics accused Christie of turning the Port Authority into a patronage mill. Citing a document titled "NY/NJ Executive Referrals" the newspaper showed there were 35 new Port Authority hires directed by Christie during his first year in office. That's more than the last four governors combined, according to the paper.
