and covering one's body with animal skins for protection, and wearing skinned alive animal pelts for vanity. But maybe you're ok with that little detail.

But, as I stated, there is a vast difference between eating and covering oneself for protection, and skinning animals alive for vanity.

8. I don't buy leather, but it is a by-product from animals killed for meat.

Not the specific result of torture for vanity. And at least in theory the animals are killed humanely. Not the case with fur.

I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe preserving the fur or something similarly disgusting. Wearing fur is becoming as taboo as smoking cigarettes in public. Fortunately!

I am a vegan, but I absolutely see a difference between eating meat and wearing fur.

I hate KILLING but wouldn't killing the animal first be the "humane" thing to do ... to spare it from suffering such torture????????????????????
