Key Democratic Group Will Sit Out Midterm Elections

Priorities USA Action, the super PAC now backing Hillary Clinton, won’t spend to help Democrats in
the House and Senate this year, a spokesperson confirms.

The Democratic Party’s biggest super PAC, recently retooled as an early pro-Hillary Clinton effort, will sit out the midterm elections this year.

A spokesman with the group, Priorities USA Action, confirmed to BuzzFeed on Wednesday night that it would not be involved in House or Senate campaigns.

“House Majority PAC and Majority PAC are doing everything right and making a real difference. We fully support their efforts,” said the spokesman, Peter Kauffmann, referring to the main groups supporting Democratic congressional candidates.

Way to go jackasses.
Nobody said you had to spend all your money on midterm elections.
Guess what though? If Hillary is elected, she may not have much help in Congress.

pointing out all the accomplishments Hillary has and I come to the conclusion that she won't ever be President. That we very well may loose the whitehouse in '16 if she is the nominee.
I've come a long way to arrive here as up to recently I thought for sure she would be our first woman President. Not so sure anymore.

Everyone is entitled to our opinion, K

However, I think it would behoove this group to give some help in selected races.

People jump up and down and blame others who didn't vote in other years for some of the candidates that lost. Well, this certainly sets a fine example.

Again, when they announce that there will be NO support for midterm candidates how do you think that makes those who are putting everything into winning feel.
Hillary will have built up ZERO good will even if this is an independent Dem group. You can bet that the GOP is multitasking and working in both.

I'm going to vote and I'm going to vote for the Democratic nominee no matter who it is. If its Hillary I'll be just as enthuseatic as I was when I supported Obama or Jimmy Carter or the big Dog. That's just the way I am. I believe in our democracy even in the face of a lot of indications that we may not have a democracy any more it doesn't matter I'm here for the long haul.

It doesn't have to be like it is today and the only way we're going to change that is through the ballot box.
Please everyone get out that and support our candidate and most importantly Vote.
If I seen that the republiCONs was the party that gave a shit about me and the well being of my country I'd be a republiCON but I don't so therefore I won't be one.

I believe that voting should be not only a right but a must. I also believe that voting days should be a day of excitement, a time of jubilation and most of all a call of duty.
Change to that and our problems will, for the most part, go away. Right now only a few vote so they make the decisions that we all have to live with.

Get money out of our elections and make the changes needed to ensure that our Press is the fourth leg as it was intended to be.

by all of the PACs involved?

Sean Sweeney, the former Obama aide who co-founded Priorities USA, said a year ago that the group would likely let others, like House Majority PAC and Majority PAC, “take the lead on House and Senate races.”

Do you think the PACs, over the course of the last year, haven't had discussions on who would take the lead, which PAC would do what and in which states?

At least show some interest and support.

Why vote in 2014 if the BIGGEST Dem PAC is on the sidelines? Not a good example at all

Edit to add: If they did this for ANY presidential nominee, I would call them jackasses.

And like Hillary REALLY needs the money. When I think of all the Congressional seats that go uncontested in this country, this just makes me ill.
