Christie's Evolving Answers On When He Knew About The Bridge ClosuresERIC LACH FEBRUARY 6, 2014, 6:00 AM EST
It's the cliche scandal question: what did he know and when did he know it? But it's an important one for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R).
As the George Washington Bridge scandal has unfolded, Christie has several times addressed questions about when he learned about the closures. His answers, or at least their emphasis, has evolved over time.
Take a look:
Dec. 13, 2013 press conference:
At a press conference on Dec. 13, Christie addressed testimony about the lane closings given by Patrick Foye, the executive director of the Port Authority.

As a former Federal Prosecutor he has to recognize that in himself; there is just too much to lie about and cover up.

I don't think that strategy is really going so well for him.
Sooner or later the GOP leadership is gonna tire of
all the Christie bad news sucking up all the air and
they're gonna need a big bus to throw him under.

while your contemplating Mr. Christie's latest story. Who did he send out to "investigate"? Charlie & Kevin. What are their backgrounds:
Kevin ODowd, Chief of Staff
Prior to joining the Christie Administration, ODowd served as the Chief of the Securities and Healthcare Fraud Unit in the U.S. Attorneys Office for the District of New Jersey. During the seven years he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorneys Office, ODowd prosecuted various crimes ranging from complex healthcare, securities and financial fraud matters to international child pornography distribution, cyber crimes and narcotics trafficking violations.

Charles B. McKenna, Chief Counsel
Mr. McKenna came to this position from the United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey, where he had served for 18 years. At the time of his appointment, he was the Chief of the Criminal Division, a position in which he directed attorneys responsible with prosecuting federal criminal violations since 2008. He also supervised investigations and interacted with heads of law enforcement-including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency, Internal Revenue Service and Department of Defense and was responsible for establishing and administering policy for the Criminal Division, the largest in the US Attorney's Office.
From 2002 until 2008, Mr. McKenna served as Executive Assistant US Attorney under then US Attorney Chris Christie. Here, he had executive oversight for all Criminal and Civil Division investigations as well as administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient operations in the office.

Yet, they didn't come up with anything! Experienced and accomplished U.S. Attorneys. Of course they have been part of Christie's crew since his days as the U.S. Attorney for NJ and are now his right hand henchmen. Couldn't find a thing. Because (if indeed they were dispatched to the Port Authority to investigate) they didn't want to find anything! The stories stink more and more every day!
Maybe he should have sent out these crack investigators:
