Arrow Star Stephen Amell Says 2014 Olympics 'Marred by Homophobia'

It's a character to truly rally around since the groundbreaking 70's arc in which it paired him with the more authoritarian Green Lantern who was oblivious to the ails of the world. The two traveled together around the country and he showed Lantern all the ways that he could be doing a lot more good.

The character has taken that to heart over the years and Green Arrow's non-hero persona of Oliver Queen was mayor of Starling City as well for awhile. They've brought that into the other mediums well too.

A very positive character.

I totally agree with what Stephen Amell says. It is totally true and the Russians are being stupid. However, they also are not ready for the Olympics. Terrorism, faulty Olympic sites, Dangerous trials, Homophobia, and so much more. This could be a total disaster.

I do not have a good feeling about the Olympics. I hope I'm wrong, but things are just not feeling right this time. Place, Russian homophobia, terror threats...

Good vibes going out to all our athletes, representatives, and families.

Mahalo again for letting us know what else Stephen Amell, Canadian actor, is up to besides getting bad guys!

The Olympics are "marred by homophobia" in Russia. no use pretending it's not.

I wasn't real thrilled when the new Arrow was announced, but he has done a really good job. Also, Justin Hartley was supposed to be "Aquaman." The pilot is online, I think youtube.

Revenge is a guilty pleasure of mine. I haven't watched it since Emily and Daniel's wedding, though, because I've been busy with other shows on Sunday night.
