There were radio stations/DJs who made bank in the late 50's advertising that they broadcast "the best of Negro music."
They were right about the undermining morals, though. What they didn't recognize was that their own blatant bigotry, hypocrisy, and greed were much greater underminers of our morals than Little Richard.
