Rudy Guiliani’s Advocacy Of Governor Christie Comes With Price Tag

While most Republicans have kept their distance from Governor Chris Christie the former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Guiliani, has been willing to go on TV and other media outlets to push back against growing allegations of misconduct. Though his defense has not always been perfect, it has been consistent leading many to wonder why Guiliani had stepped forward.

Now the answers is clear. Guiliani is under contract with Mercury Public Affairs, the consulting firm for Michael DuHaime one of Christie’s closest advisors also implicated in the Hoboken/Sandy aid scandal as his firm did polling to show there was support for a real estate development project.

Mercury Public Affairs spokesman Michael McKeon confirmed the company had retained Bracewell Giuliani, the law firm founded by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani…
