I am not really sure Reagan would really need the support of Scott Walker. As bad if a job Reagan gave us, it is not as bad as Walker would do.

It took a little while, but lefty bloggers pounced on a January interview in which Gov. Scott Walker supposedly told a conservative website that he recalled voting for Ronald Reagan for president.

John Hawkins of RightWing News quoted Walker as saying:

"I remember, I was a teenager, had just become a teenager and voted for Ronald Reagan — limited government, you know, smaller government, lower taxes, strong national defense. You knew what you were getting. You knew how a Reagan administration, a Reagan presidency was going to be better for you."

Of course, Walker had just turned 13 when Reagan defeated then-President Jimmy Carter in 1980. Walker was still too young to vote when Reagan won re-election four years later.

That prompted sharp criticism this weekend from liberal Wisconsin bloggers, such as The Political Environment and Blogging Blue, By noon on Monday, the story had gained traction with such national sites as Huffington Post and Talking Points Memo, which took shots at Walker for alleged voter fraud. .....

I am shocked--shocked I say-- that a Republican would lie like that. They're usually so honest.

admittedly, I was in first grade, but I did.

Coincidentally, that was the only year I ever voted for a Republican for president (I just voted for the president who sent my sister a picture of him, his wife, and their dog). And that was the only year the poll was wrong.

I think he voted in the school election that almost every school holds right before a real election to sort of get a feel for things. To a child this is a vote cast..
