Its not fair, of course, and its just not right. 85 people own as much of the worlds wealth as half the global population. Fewer than 100 individuals have as much loot as 3.5 billion of their fellow human beings. Is it any wonder they feel so put upon? Theyre outnumbered 41 million to one. And anyone with even a drop of empathy or decency can surely understand how the threat of slightly higher taxes on these people is as inhuman as carting 6 million Jews off to gas chambers.

(1) I am very committed to combatting income inequality, and have been talking about it since the 1980s, BUT ...
(2) Marie Antoinette never said that (just for the record).
(3) Don't pull the Hitler gas-chambers card, EVER.
(4) I made such a terrific cake this weekend: sour cream and crystallized ginger bundt cake, with a demerarra sugar crust.

I really don't. I do a lot of volunteer work with diabetics, and so I literally hate cake.
But this is supposedly a historical lie about Marie Antoinette.
