everything on "the people who worked for me." Plus he depicts himself as "a leader" who heroically does all these brave things, like firing and humiliating anybody who is his underling. I realize he's done that all along, but he believes himself?!1 And who is he ever going to get to work for him since everybody sees him excoriating all employees? Not that I wish him success, just that it is breathtaking to see this level of tin ear and obtuseness and lack of people skills in somebody attempting to work in a pursuit that is all about dealing with people, the public he's supposed to serve and the employees he needs to deliver through.

That he's being a "distraction" is in the air for the Rethugs, plus Rethug candidates running away from him. He is to the Rethugs what Bill CLINTON was to us: Somebody his own partisans had to spend all their energy defending -- working to defend one individual instead of working on the agenda -- while he himself wasted too much of the precious hard-won tenure in selfish self-indulgence instead of HIM totally dedicated to working on THE AGENDA (only).

I think this is the biggest thing I appreciate about OBAMA, that (so far as I know) he has kept his nose clean. If dealing with the Shrub disaster and the TeaBagger obstructionism have kept things undone, at least he hasn't added to the difficulties with personal problems.

If one goes back in Christie's history in politics we find that he's been doing this for quite awhile. He's just never gotten busted this big before. So much evidence so little time. Christie's should be scared shitless.. is that why he won't let anyone in his office testify?..

The Harder They Fall always comes to mind when I see all the evidence of Christie's hubristic fuck ups now. He's peddling as fast as he can but will it ever be enough? We can only hope not.

So many reasons I'm grateful Obama is the President.. I could tell very soon there would be no personal issues with him. Even though tabloids and teabaggers try to make it so.
