Les Miles said his team would accommodate a gay football player and that a player’s sexual orientation does not matter in his locker room.

“We require so much from our team that we really don’t look at things that make us different. We look at things that make us similar,” Miles said in an interview with The Advocate. “If that was a difference, I think our team would accommodate that guy who’s a really good football player and a contributor to our team.”

Point of information: The Advocate referred to in the quote is the local Baton Rouge paper, not the LGBT publication of the same name.

Colorado in the PAC 10, Notre Dame (basketball) in the ACC...They are both nowhere near those coasts!

when they started to raid the old Big East...

The *one* upside to these ugly mega-conferences is the obscene profits they generate help bolster the legal argument for cutting the players in for a share of the revenue...
