For the second time in his life, 9-year-old Jacob Clark was recently invited to join a jury of his peers.
But that jury wasnt congregating on the elementary school playground: Clark was summoned to appear in Orleans District Court in Massachusetts on April 18 for jury selection.
I looked at it and said, This is ridiculous! Jacobs grandmother, Deborah Clark, told ABCNews.com.
The Yarmouth, Mass., third grader was summoned to jury duty once before, when he was 2 years old.

(27,315 posts)I wonder why the media consider this is newsworthy. I have been called for duty twice even though I was not eligible. There was a place on the convocation to answer and a whole bunch of possibility were offered. I answered. That was the end of the story,
But the media would prefer to spend time on these useless stories rather than to talk about real stories that matter.
