Romney: People Just Don't Trust Obama Anymore

CATHERINE THOMPSON – FEBRUARY 14, 2014, 7:17 AM EST

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Thursday that President Barack Obama lost the confidence of the American people over broken health care promises.

Fox News host Megyn Kelly pointed out that Romney predicted during his 2012 campaign that Americans would be dropped from their insurance plans under Obamacare.

"Do you believe the American people should trust this president?" she asked.

"Well, I think they've lost the confidence they had in him," Romney replied.

as citizens against mass government surveillance of citizens; brutal suppression of protest; secret laws and courts; "kill lists" and state murders utterly without due process; rampant propaganda; criminalization of investigative journalism; persecution of journalists and whistleblowers; subversion of our government for corporate use; and undeclared, rampant warmongering.

Instead, we are deliberately fed this sort of orchestrated partisan flamebait to get us to divide up into our Blue and Red teams and minimize the ongoing *bipartisan* murder of our democratic, representational government.

This said, they have certainly lost some level of confidence, but nowhere near as much as in the GOP.

So, can he just shut up for a while?

Now, do I trust Obama? Not necessarily. I think he's too much a tool of corporations and too worried about some mythical cooperation that will never happen to actually be effective.

Oh, and he's not a liberal. At. All.

BUT, I trust him a heck of a lot more than I ever would Mr. Romney.
