(10,164 posts)Most of them aren't commercial, they're political contribution solicitations. I have, however, been getting them from Sirius satellite radio...and I'm going to file a complaint the very next time it happens.

In the past, people would take spammers to small claims court.
You have to make sure your spammer is one that is covered by the law, like a real business, as oppsed to the
unknowns who robocall.
There are people who make a chunk of change by small claims court filings, then they contact the spammer
and suggest a payment to avoid court. Apparently this has been a succesful approach for folks, I was
aware of it esp. in Cal.
