From Dem SCC, pursuant to Nate Silver's prediction:

Friend -- This is tough to stomach: If you combine ALL that Democrats have spent nationwide to stop a Republican Senate takeover, it pales in comparison to the Koch brothers’ $8.2 million attack onslaught in North Carolina alone.

Nate Silver projects that North Carolina is the Republicans’ best chance to win a “51-49 Senate majority.” The Kochs’ rampage has already erased Hagan’s 15-point lead, and they just launched yet ANOTHER brutal attack.

We don’t need to match the Kochs’ spending -- but THIS FRIDAY, we’re launching our Grassroots Victory Project to neutralize their attacks. The New York Times just called our $60 million, 4000 field staff project the “largest and most data-driven ground game yet.”

If we can fully fund Phase One, we’ll place senior field operatives and staff in key states by the end of the month. But we need 3,000 more folks -- including you -- to step up before the deadline in 72 hours.

Will you pitch in $3 to the Grassroots Victory Project to stop the Koch brothers from buying the Senate?

In Phase One, the Grassroots Victory Project requires leadership in ten critical Senate battlegrounds “to come up with a ‘strategic plan,’ complete with a budget and data-mapping program.”

This ground-game strategy led President Obama to victory in 2012. If we can fund our efforts this time around, we will organize more Democrats, turn out more voters, and show the Koch brothers that we refuse to let them buy the Senate.

Here’s how your $15 will help us win on the ground in a state like North Carolina:

If you and 50 others step up, we could hire a field organizer to contact voters and recruit volunteers. Pitch in now >>
If you and 100 others step up, it would help fund our state-of-the-art voter targeting program. Pitch in now >>
If you and 500 others step up, we could open a field office to coordinate staff and volunteers. Pitch in now >>
We WILL defeat the Kochs and keep the Senate blue, but we need grassroots supporters like you to contribute before Friday to fund our plan.

Please pitch in $3 right away to the Grassroots Victory Project so that we can stop a Republican Senate takeover.

Thanks for your support,
Stop the GOP

Personally I haven't, and don't know that I will contribute to Dem PARTY, as they appear SO to NOT have their heads screwed on properly, but thought I should pass this on.

but rather, giving its target audience a reason to contribute, rather than just support.

The fact is, campaigning cost money, no matter how much the other side is spending.
