Ted Nugent wasn't shocking. He simply exposed what lots of right wingers think about Obama.

Of course Ted Nugent stirred some **** by calling the president a "subhuman mongrel" whatever that comment was. Was it nasty, uncivil? Yes. Shocking? No. But it's 2014 an election year. Rick Perry recently condemned Nugent for his remarks, I hear. I know that Perry is retiring after this term. I doubt that Perry as a state governor and fellow government executive like Obama would want to be associated with such low life scum as Nugent. Which is exactly why he issued his "condemnation"...remember, the Republican party is in TROUBLE at this point after such incidents like "legitimate rape", "honest rape", and Ted Nugent's trash talk. They know they're seen as the party of misogyny, bigotry, and regressive thought. Which is why they're desperately trying not to look like the party of the draft-dodging pants-pooping crappy music-composing freak, a disgusting type of man most Americans do NOT want to be.

He's pure political gold, poisoning support against the most reprehensible of candidates.

During the campaign season I hope he gets even more airtime.

When I talk about the political distillation of the Right into 200 proof of crazy, winnowing down their support demos into a smaller and smaller base of RWNJs, I'm talking about this guy.

He does the hard work to defang the Right, so we don't have to.

They're willing to overlook him being a draft dodger. That's a big thing to the right. They are so on his side that people who wouldn't support another draft dodger will support him. And it's comments like this most recent one that endear him to the far right. You know that 25% or so of people who are fundamentalist Christians but still wouldn't vote for Obama if God opened the heavens and personally endorsed him? Yeah those are Ted's people.

to keep it up! Help publicize everything he has to say. The bigger a megaphone he has in his hands the more he and his supporters are exposed for what they are. This is tide-turning material. I live in a conservative area. This stuff is starting to change the conversation a bit. There are some who are hardcore who will never change. However, even people who dislike the President are now starting to say things like "I don't agree with him but I don't think he's a bad person" or "I don't believe he's a socialist, just too liberal for me"

That's a big change from the hate filled Hannity & Limbaugh stuff I used to hear from these people. I think Nugent horrifies them and causes them to back away from the cliff. I say keep it up Ted-at least you're not making any more crummy music or shooting baited bears illegally!
