So the highest ranking Republican would rather kill himself than allow people to earn a living wage?

What else needs to be said?

http://thehill.com/homenews/house/198856-boehner-id-rather-kill-myself-than-raise-the-minimum-wage

Speaker John Boehner is so against raising the minimum wage that he once said he would rather commit suicide than vote for a “clean” increase.

If this doesn't motivate you to GOTV 2014 and get Republicans out of office, nothing will.

He's just channeling wangotangoman... a lot of big mouth talk and no action, as we have seen all too often from him and his ilk.

But I'm sticking with the wangotangoman thingy...

Wangotangoman actually has a hat and fits your description so we can both win this one!!

He'd rather make the entire world uninhabitable than grant living wage and would destroy all life everywhere rather than grant a guaranteed living income.

He is a TeaPubliKlan, that is their fundamental position, virtually all the rest of the insanity is to support that ideal. It is all about all money and power to the top few.

It is also why they can't readily be compromised with and why doing so usually yields bitter fruit, because one cannot ably serve two Masters with opposing goals. Someone is served and someone gets it in the back.

Advocate for the powerful balanced against an arbiter is not a meaningful political yang and yang either, particularly when the arbiter is significantly influenced by the same folks the forceful advocates are openly fighting for.

The TeaPubliKlans are irredeemable and have been so for a long time. Worse they do not give a single, solitary fuck that we know it because their is no price we can extract from them, they are beyond our influence completely.

What are we going to do? Withhold our votes? Shut down the donations? Start bad mouthing them? Lose trust?

Work with them??? C'mon man!

These motherfuckers are twisted and delusional, the only thing to be done with them is get them the fuck out of the way of sane and decent people and you can not ask the people to eliminate a party with extreme prejudice while pretending they are good people with the best intentions that we have a few disagreements with all WHILE they have been screaming that we are the devil incarnate to everyone and God at the top of their lungs.

It doesn't matter how big an asshole Boehner is if no one will call him on it and instead of doing so try to compromise with what they refuse to call evil supposedly in pursuit of be seen as "the adults in the room", which in turn is supposed to have some big political payoffs that never seem to come to fruition.

Yeah, Sir John of Orange is a dumpster fire of epic scale and sadder yet he is easily one of the better of his wicked brood but what the fuck is anybody doing about it besides assimilation of their shitty worldview in vain supposed pursuit of peeling their batshit voters and/or "compromising" with them which in turn drives them to be more radical to differentiate which drives our fools to follow them to get the new phony middle ground.

This has been the game for about forty years and it ain't working, in fact in many key ways matters are much worse despite some strides in access because what we get access to is in a tailspin.

Despise Boehner? Relentless oppose him then! Bloody him constantly as they do Nancy and Harry. ALWAYS run an opponent, always drive those fucking negatives up and spare no expense doing so.

The "adults in the room" fallacy cedes the opposition the basic premise in favor of being able to say they are going about it the wrong way. It is a lie.

Hell yes these fuckers are a serious problem, which is why they must be eliminated and their wicked and foolish ideology wholly rejected. We still lose if we largely end up implementing their ideology under sane management.

Their incompetence is a significant issue but their underlying philosophy is an even bigger problem, it is entropy wrapped in the flag with corporate symbols instead of stars with a dragons avarice in its eyes using the trappings of theocracy as it's pied piper song to keep the rabble marching along.

Look at their long history of subversive scheming and dirty tricks. These people are a threat to democracy, self determination, and broad prosperity. Time to fucking start acting like it, they have for decades. Stop breathing life into their zombie corpse. Kill the fucking thing.
