Huffington Post: Mom Hates 'Offensive' Shirts, Buys All Of Them

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/18/mom-buys-offensive-shirts_n_4811377.html?utm_hp_ref=weird-news

I think someone maybe doesn't understand 'supply and demand'

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A mother upset about "indecent" T-shirts on display at a Utah mall found a quick if not especially convenient way to remove them: She bought every last one.

Orem is a city of about 90,000 in ultraconservative Utah County that uses the motto "Family City USA." Most residents belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which frowns on pornography and encourages its youth to dress and act modestly.

I do, indeed.

Oh, they were. Judy Cox saw these semi-nude women while shopping with her son at the University Mall, in hyper-conservative Orem, Utah. This mother, enraged that she was forced to gaze upon the partially clothed female form, marched into the store and demanded they dismantle their display. But she soon realized that the PacSun bureaucracy could not keep pace with her fiery rage.

Considering she claims she is planning to bring them back before 60 days this seems more like a publicity stunt. If she was really offended enough to buy all the shirts because she did not want young people to see them, why doesn't she just burn the shirts and take the financial lose? How does buying the shirts and then bringing them back solve the problem?

flaunting her moral outrage. Believe it or not, most people in the area will simply roll their eyes at her self righteous arrogance.

If she was truly outraged, she'd be picketing the Victoria's Secret store on the first level of the Mall.

I know, I'm like fucking Macklemore, here, but IMNHSO no one should pay 30 bucks for a t-shirt.
