Great news in Texas...buried at the bottom of the story..."Democrats are heading to the polls"

Significant this year, Peoples said, is that Democrats are heading to the polls.

“Republicans have all these contested primaries,” she said. “We have so many candidates in noncontested races, and people are turning out. Not only that, but we are seeing an uptick in the vote in some areas.

“We are seeing Democrats vote.”

Now party leaders need to make sure Democrats stay engaged, especially in Tarrant County, which many view as a bellwether of the state’s political leanings.

I voted on the last day of early voting in Oak Cliff. The people who voted Democrat had to wait for a voting machine, the ones who voted Republican didn't have to wait.

regular polling site, the elementary school. Here they split Primary voting sites on party lines. Odd that the site always "changed" is the Democratic site.
I'll vote for Wendy Davis in the primary on Tuesday.

I have been told we will share the location with the GOP. I have also learned it is the winning party who gets to be the judge in the future elections which in Harris County that is Democratic judge. Thanks Democratic voters for turning our county blue. I also noticed a larger percentage of younger black female voters in the fall election, keep up the big turnout, GOTV!

at the County Office complex.

There was a wait to sign in at the Dem table, and no customers at all at the Republican table.

Yes, it's Austin, but you would expect somebody at the Republican table!
