8. It's good to hear that Russians are opposed to what is going on

But yet I have to skeptically wonder how much it will matter. Most of us at DU opposed the war in Iraq and yet it was still waged (to be clear I was not on DU at the time and was a lurker between 2006-2008). The sad thing is that if Putin wants to invade, he will. There's not a hell of a lot anyone can do to stop him.

In both Russian and English and Ukrainian (including ethnic Russia and and ethnic Ukrainians).

Since some 70+ Russians are against Putin's invasion, it's clear and cut that his actions are against the wishes of Russians.
