He used to have a show on WCPT in Chicago quite a few years back now. I believe he was replaced by Norm Goldman on that station. Occasionally, Ron showed up on MSNBC - but I haven't seen nor heard of him for a long time now.
What happened? Does he still have a show on the air somewhere? Has he retired from public life? What gives?
I always found him refreshing, insightful and loved listening to him - because he was always well informed and knew just how to relate to the public.
Any info would be appreciated.

(2,805 posts)On MSNBC as a guest commentator. I didn't know he doesn't currently have a radio show but a quick Google search doesn't bring one up. Maybe someone can find something more concrete.
Anyway, I didn't see the whole segment and can't remember what the discussion was about but he was on air maybe two weeks ago and looked good. He had looked a little drawn for a while there but looked healthier during that segment. I think he is doing fine but agree I wouldn't mind him having his own show because he actually thinks his opinions through and discusses subjects intelligently. That isn't what teevee producers want but it would be a great service for the public.

(5,182 posts)He has been on Chris Matthews show some, but I am usually asleep during that time (I work third shift). I've seen him on the Hardball Weekend recap show, which is how I know.
I enjoyed his show, too. He has a smooth voice and relaxed manner, even when dealing righty callers.

(25,270 posts)I catch it from time to time and never heard him on Ring of Fire. I recall that Bobby Kennedy Jr. was on Ring of Fire - but not Ron Reagan.
