Thank You President Obama for your Courage

Regardless of how much I sometimes feel that there is no real reason to care anymore about something that we, the people no longer have any control over, a Democrat gives me reason to hope.

The nomination of Debo Adegbile was an act of courage. It was totally in the face of the police state profiteers, and Pat Toomey spoke for them when he went off the deep end speaking against this step toward a more humane, less racist society.

But something strikes me as strange - people who vigorously defend Obama and others when they compromise with the Rethugs, or make decisions that infuriate the left and other members of the base, are oddly quiet when it comes to defending this President when he makes a step for real change and is sold out by some in his own party. As long as he is moving to the right, it's applause and kudos, when he moves an inch to the left...
