Strangers doing improbable personal things together on videos
There's an GD OP on DU with a video of people who are ostensibly strangers kissing each other. It's sort of funny and interesting.
While it turns out that it was planned and the strangers were models or actors, it's still interesting. It brought to mind an old video series shot in Russia. In that series, the videos involved a guy asking strange women if he can feel their breasts. Over 1000 people agreed to that, and the video depicts him doing just that, and in public places. I'm not going to link to the videos, but you can find them if you want. The reactions of the women are interesting, but it's more interesting that they'd go along with such a request.
The reason I mention this is that people will often do rather unusual things or allow unusual things to be done to them on request. That it will be captured on video, I suppose, adds to the attraction. People tend to be adventurous, it seems. I'm not sure any of it means anything other than that. People just like novelty in their lives, and will often do what seems to be something strange just for the novelty of it.
I doubt any of it means more than that.
