I have found RT news very refreshing and interesting

as opposed to our corporate controlled and approved media here. They do stories I have not seen anywhere else, like when they interviewed the defense lawyers from Gitmo recently, they said the whole Gitmo trials and process their clients face is a huge farce and has nothing to do with justice.

For those that have Dish, it is on channel 280.

Putin is going to win and be the new leader
of Russia. This seems a good thing to me, he seems to bring stability and is a level-headed guy. What do you think of Vladimir Putin winning, by the way there is a Putin rally on c-span right now.

Putin is a good leader for Russia

they need a strong guy and a bad-ass like him to keep things going smoothly. He brings stability and (average citizens)they love the guy too.

Putin Progs can swarm any thread that even sniffs at criticizing Putin or his protege Snowden.

We will come armed with an army of smilies to belittle the fools who don't see Putin's greatness.

Our reinforcement of each others smilies will be all we need to know we are the silent majority of progressives.

very few will cop to being a Putin supporter

but, they will push back on stories that contradict what the Kremlin is saying and parroting whatever the Russian government says about a particular issue*. And you'll see people who refer to him as a "strong leader"

*And yes, people do that in the case of President Obama, but no one's really contested that phenomenon, nor should it be surprising on a partisan Democratic (USA) website

or supported a regime that used poison gas on its own citizens, and he still stuck it to the US worse than Putin ever has, so yeah of course he'll be more popular

You can put your proposal right next to the ones labeled "Progressives for Saddam", because the same left-baiting mindset is behind them.

Have a nice day!
