McCain: "1st time I've been embarrassed about members of my party"

And what horrible deed of outragenous made him say that?

Breaking News headline:

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., criticizes Senate for not immediately passing Ukraine aid bill,
says it's 1st time he's been embarrassed about members of own party -

THAT makes him embarrassed.
Not his failed Presidnetial run
not his fobbing Moose-a-lini off on a unsuspecting public.
NONE of thousands of inane, moronic utternances of his party members.

FWIW the issue with passing the bill isn't the actual aid itself, but rather a transfer of money okaawhatever Mar 2014 #5

held at the IMF. In 2010 the US agreed, along with other countries to make some changes (I don't know what they are). The repubs have fought passing the legislation needed to move the money because they want to tank the IMF and Obama. It's similar to their not approving an ATF director, NLRB members and confirming judges. Their tea party backers don't want the IMF or UN to exist. They want this bill separated so they can continue to block the IMF change. One of the countries last summer said basically to move ahead without the US so we don't continue to screw with everyone else. The dems and repubs who know how much this is hurting the IMF and the US are keeping this attached so it doesn't screw with the IMF and our reputation.
