A group of Rowan University students was determined Thursday to not let Governor Christie get through another town hall-style event without answering questions about his administration’s handling of Superstorm Sandy funds and the George Washington Bridge controversy.

After the governor took a question from a woman about the state commission studying Alzheimer’s, Michael Brein shouted the governor’s name trying to get his attention. When Christie didn’t call on him – he had told attendees that he doesn’t call on people who shout – Brein began shouting his question about federal Sandy aid anyway.

“Either sit down and keep quiet or get out,” Christie said. “We’re done with you.”

The governor turned back to the woman who was trying to ask about state aid for schools and the police escorted Brein out. Five more Rowan students would be escorted out for similarly shouting questions about Sandy and the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge that created gridlock in Fort Lee for four days last September.

“Governor Christie, you hired crooks and liars,” the second protester yelled before she was escorted out.

I bet he has his people study the audience every time and pick out people they know will ask friendly questions, I doubt he is calling on people randomly.
