“Gov. #Cuomo: We demand a NY that works for #AllOfUs, not just the richest 1%!

For too long elected officials in Albany have turned their backs on hard working New Yorkers in favor of the super-rich. Two different and unequal New York States have arisen from this divisive strategy: one that works for the corporations and super-rich and one for the rest of us.

New Yorkers are fed up with their schools being underfunded, their wages undermined, and their rights trampled on while the wealthiest in this state get tax breaks and giveaways.

This Thursday, March 20th, parents, community leaders, and advocacy groups from across the state will come to Albany to demand that this year's budget works for all New Yorkers. It's time for Albany to veer away from business as usual and begin to close the gap between the haves and have nots in New York State. The parents, community members, faith leaders and activists that will be participating in the action are coming to tell their stories and take a stand for a New York that works for all of us.

Add your voice with theirs to make sure Gov. Cuomo and leaders in Albany hear loud and clear: We demand a New York that works for all of us!
