and not give the world the same access to old Fred's funeral that they demanded from all the families whose funerals they crashed. I wouldn't be surprised if they cremated Fred or inter his rotten self in a mausoleum to avoid the inevitable desecration of his grave.

And I sincerely hope I do not see members here trying to shame our LGBT Brothers and Sisters when they grave dance, cheer, curse at him, and spill their feelings of hatred toward him.

He deserves it.

My only regret is that he doesn't have to hear it, put up with it, or be made to feel like an outcast or lesser than.

Let's give them a big break.

One more thing: Don't call him Reverend. That was a self-title upon him. He was no Reverend. EVER!

Here lies Fred Phelps, anti-GLBT firebrand,
Who spoke evil of everyone except God,
Giving the excuse, "I never knew Him."

In a weird way, he might have actually done some good our pro-gay rights side by being so appalling.

As for his death, well, Jerry Seinfeld said it best:

Unfortunately his life did some harm. Although he was crazy enough that he didn't do as much harm as he could have.
