Anti-Gay 'Revolution' On The Way, Because People Are Fed Up With 'Homosexual Agenda,' Scott Lively Claims

An anti-gay "revolution" is in the works in response to the so-called "homosexual agenda," Scott Lively declared in a new interview with the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer.

As Right Wing Watch first reported, Lively joined Fischer to discuss his newly-launched gubernatorial campaign. Not surprisingly, however, their talk quickly shifted to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

"People are fed up; I think they're at the breaking point," Lively noted. Calling homosexuality as the "ultimate lawlessness" in the Bible, the controversial evangelical added, "That's where we are now in our country. It's a powder keg and I think we're going to see some real explosive changes are going to take place."

Lively, who is on trial for crimes against humanity, perhaps best known for his support of Uganda's extreme political persecution of gays and lesbians, and is said to have inspired the country's controversial "Kill the Gays" bill.

I would not doubt some violence. These folks are cornered and losing the culture wars.

I think I'll get banned if I say what I really wish I could do to this guy. Cheez Loweez.

This guy is the inspiration behind the oppression and possible deaths of potentially millions of people. (Because of the shitty law he inspired in Uganda.) Fuck him.

I say fuck him!!

What do they think this is? America?

I can't imagine that anyone but the craziest "religionists" or most self-loathing closet cases would get that worked up in the US about this stuff anymore. It's more of a...Middle East/Putin obsession at this point.

if someone is "at the breaking point" over this, the breaking point is at your your mental health. However, Still good politics for the last voters of a dying political party.

That Jesus didn't give a shit about teh gay, and came back to earth to say so. he even made a "New" testament for you worry warts. Know your crazy bible ffs!

LGBT equality is unstoppable. Miserable assholes like him are becoming more and more obsolete. That's the basis for their reactionary fantasies about supposedly turning the tide.

It is much like the whole white man march affair. They are realizing that they are losing and they therefore console themselves with fantasies about apocalyptic showdowns. It's a sign that they are getting desperate.

who would just rather that everything (greed, fraud, stealing among the banksters, proven lies of radio pundits, chickenhawk hypocrisiy etc.) and everyone (LBGT community, blacks, Hispanics, women, the Pope etc) would just go back in the closets so that they would not have to face up to reality and themselves. It was just so much more comfortable being able to be...but not recognized. These people long for the 'good 'ole days when they could just criticize, sneer, and demean and discriminate against for doing exactly what they were doing under cover of religion, patriotism, etc. They hate it's all out in the open now and they have found out that many among their families their friends their heroes fit into one or more of those categories...including themselves. Pity them cause it will never go back. In so many instances "privilege" has meant that the "privileged" could partake of all those behaviors they called sins where others were concerned when they themselves could partake in shadows because of their privilege and status. Thus, Obama has robbed them of some of their privileges...and what they really have left is MONEY, position, and dittoheads...enough to destroy what the entire nation. UNLESS WE GET OUT THERE AND CHALLENGE IN ALL POLITICAL RACES AND GET OUR PEOPLE OUT TO THE POLLS THIS YEAR! YES WE CAN!!!
