1. I am only a host

For a small group and don't check the host forum often. It does appear that GD and maybe late breaking news are very busy. People put in a lot of time hosting and as with MIRT I would imagine that many people who complain about hosts have never actually done the job.

2. I would not want to be a host for LBN or GD

That is a PT job like MIRT is. My job as CHaS host is very easy.

It would be informative for people to actually be a host. Informed criticism is always best.

4. Yup! LBN and GD hosts are busy bees.

I host Religion forum. I've received one alert in about a month. It was resolved without any problem. Easy peasy.

But I go to the hosts' forum daily and click through on many posts there. Anybody who thinks the hosts don't do anything don't know what they're talking about.

I bow to the other hosts, who are dedicated DUers and who want to make DU a pleasant place.

Kudos to all of them.
