As his visage becomes more prominent on a $20 bill, the food basket shrinks.
Therefore, the minimum wage isn't to blame, it's the fault of Treasury.

The elderly grocery bagger and a customer of the same age were agreeing that the rising cost of groceries was due to the high hourly wages of the workers. They were saying they were happy to make $2.00 an hour back in their day.
They have it so backwards. This is what we're up against in the battle for hearts and minds.

in 1987 was $30 for two people.

I just went shopping today, and even though I was watching my spending, I spent more than $100.

We eat simply, and pretty much "shop the walls", and it's still a lot of money.

Just got some chickens and are co-gardening with family this year. Healthier and cheaper.
