Hey Al Franken, please don't make it a point to mention that Chuck Grassley

is your friend.

Why do Democratic reps and senators find it necessary to constantly mention that such-n-such rightwingfuck is their friend?

I'm sure things are a lot different in private. Politicians don't usually have any set principles. They do what they can get away with or, like this Congress we have now, they don't really do anything. Politics is just a game to them.
