Activism survey

What forms of activism do you engage in ? I know this poll will be flawed, hence the "Other" option.

I know many DU'ers are active in real life politics and activism. Simply curious with this poll.

Write letters to the editor, phone-banking, voter registration, tabling. Next week I'm lobbying in Sacramento with other members of my union. I march when I can. I've walked three picket lines in the last couple of years.

And, of course, I sit in my mothers basement and pound out screeds on DU.

write e-mails, protest/march when it's called for, fundraise, donate (not a lot -- don't have a lot), volunteer to do pretty much anything that needs to be one. That is applicable on causes and candidacies. If I don't have a local one I can support I find the nearest one (geographically and ideologically) and work for it/him/her. Been doing that since the early 1970's.

hit the phones, vote with my dollar, advocate on social media, and generally make as big a stink as often as I can.
