Dear anti-vaxxers...NPR says...Suck it...Autism found to occur during Gestation NOT vaccination

Last edited Fri Mar 28, 2014, 12:32 PM - Edit history (3)

I heard live interview on this with the doctor and some group from NIH on NPR on way home yesterday...

http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2014/03/26/294446735/brain-changes-suggest-autism-starts-in-the-womb

IN their discussion they even narrowed down WHEN they think the anomalies occur...

within the cortex there are 6 tissue layers that are formed between 19th weeks and 30th weeks gestation the distinct layers graduate and separate during this time normally with specific brain cells on each of the layers in a uniform matrix...

But in autistic children there are spots of incorrect anomalous cells on individual layers not in the same place on each layer every time.... but the same anomalous cells appear on these individual layers in children's brains with autism...

Now they have to determine for sure the causation...

They are looking at Genetic anomolies, environmental, and Bio-nutritional franken foods...

To hardcore CTers, anything that doesn't confirm their beliefs is misinformation by paid shills

I was vaccinated against my will as a child, and while I was lucky, and it didn't harm me, I've passed the residue of it to my fetus, and it had no defense against the bad stuff as it was still developing.

"Big Vaccine just wants to obscure the truth" or some BS like that.

Not one single word.

So why keep bringing it up when no one else has raised the question? Why not just be thrilled about the discovery that may lead to better understanding of autism.

Perhaps you are less interested in learning about autism than stirring the pot. I hope you'll prove me wrong and modify your caption to invite conversation, rather than a flame war.

By quacks such as Dr. Wakefield and "celebrities" like Jenny McCarthy.

And unless SOMEONE specifically points out how the science says their beliefs are unrelenting bullshit, these beliefs will continue to ripple through our society for generations to come, endangering the lives of future generations.

And here we have clear scientific evidence that the roots of autism start long before a child is exposed to vaccines, directly refuting their beliefs.

So why keep bringing it up when no one else has raised the question?

The question was raised years ago by the quacks I mentioned above, and their psuedoscientific beliefs have gone viral globally since then. It's now so embedded in our social belief system that millions of people have decided against vaccines because of it!

Pretending that we shouldn't talk about how science says vaccines don't cause autism every chance we get is ignoring the elephant in the room that is the anti-science brigade so prevalent today.

which is completely unrelated to vaccines.

If your real purpose is to discuss an article on NPR about autism, and the exciting new developments in addressing that medical condition, there is absolutely no reason to bring up an unrelated inflammatory topic in an "I told you so" manner, other than to create a flame war.

It is informative to note that NPR did not feel compelled to do the same.
