Free Republic is 4chan, but for conservative adults

Here's the thing: The average /b/tard is somewhere between 12 and 20 years old. The reason that /b/tards think the word "nigra" and memes are hilarious is simple: people below the age of 18 tend to be stupid. Not that there aren't stupid people above that age, but still, we're talking about the internet here.
What seperates the racism found on forums like 4chan and the stuff founf on FR is context. The people on 4chan don't really give a shit; they're just a bunch of 13 year olds trying to piss people off for kicks. The posters on FR are adults. Adults who own businesses and have kids, who (according to their posts) were traumatized by Obama's victory and found religion when their worst fears ocurred and the healthcare bill was passed. The same people who hired you are literally afraid that America is turning into Nazi Germany. Can you picture a mom who picks up her kids from school as the same person calling Obama a "spearchucker?"
That's the baffling thing; adults are supposed to both be responsible and technophobic, going to Yahoo Answers and politely asking how they turn off their laptop, yet they have suddenly learned about the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory.
