The top 5 most beloved companies

In all, it surveyed about 70,000 people in 15 major global markets on their feelings about 569 different companies. Questions covered whether each company’s products were considered “accessible” and within their reach, whether they'd be “proud to be associated with this brand” or whether a brand "reflects who you are," and more.

I don't think I even know anyone who uses Yahoo. The others sort of make sense in that they all have recognizable names and products that probably most households have or use.

I've used Yahoo for my home page and email ever since I have had cable internet, about 17 years. I've never had a problem with it. So yes, there are still people using it.

and have been cell-only since 2002.

What, exactly, are the advantages of trendier email addresses? I have a barely-used gmail account too as I have a Nexus 4 phone which is integrated with Google throughout, but I see nothing there that is any better for a start. What does the very best email service provide that yahoo does not? Is it worth updating the dozens of sites and services which use my email address to contact me?

So much of this techie service hopping is akin to middle school desperate searches for coolness where it was gauche to like a band once they became popular.

The biggest reason is the finance page. It seems to be much easier to search ticker symbols and get the info I am looking for from Yahoo than from Google.

the items are pretty. But they do not work for long ...

Disney is beloved because folks love the characters/music/ theme parks - but their merchandise is really low quality.

I do like Google.

Big hitters in opposing a citizen petition drive to ensure paid sick leave for all. Heaven forbid the person turning down your sheets or handing you a Mickey Burger or whatever can stay home with a virus or care for a sick child without fear of being fired.
