We as liberals have an issue I think needs to be addressed

I saw something today on Facebook in support of Transgender individuals and was saddened to see so many people claiming to be liberal basically tearing Transgender individuals apart. I'm not sure of this is common or not but if it is this needs to be stopped Transgender people deserve our support

do and say many offensive things. i see/hear it a lot when it comes to homeless people also.

If one is a person, no mater what gender, race, religion, whatever, you should be giving the same respect as all other people. End of story. If you are human , then one should get treated as any other person.

What is so hard to get about that?

And if that person is biological male/female, but they don't feel it. Then we should treat them as they feel. Not a big deal!

it's not that complicated: humans are fearful. humans are tribal. humans carry prejudice and fear from one generation to the next.

sad, but those are generalizations that have a lot of truth to them.

It would be a much better world if more people did grasp what you express.
