would be for huge numbers of people to show up at their courthouse and raise all hell. For days. Kind of like how they did to Louie and Toni @Versailles.
Otherwise it will just be a lot of noise while the roar from the flow of money drowns it out.
Just sayin'.

They simply do not care.
They didn't care when they selected Bush.
They didn't care when the decided Citizens United.
And they won't care this time either.
They are appointed for life. They simply do not HAVE to care.

So no, I don't think protests would have any effect.

The only way to fight the Supreme Court is:
1) win a majority in the House and Senate
2) find a majority in Congress who have the courage to bring impeachment proceedings.

(1,039 posts)I'm not sure how the public would react. Would it be seen as a principled protest or lawlessness? If it was the latter, it would be used as an excuse to make things worse, not better.
