Where are the New Freedom Riders?
Why not an independent, bottom-up organization that works for progressive GOTV but on a national level?
The emphasis can be on a longer, more sustained effort at reaching and retaining a relationship with our voters; precinct to precinct for a year or more before an election.
From there we work to get our votes counted, and to ensure we are prepared for the attempts to intimidate, discredit and invalidate our votes.
Are we so unable to articulate the consequences of losing this election, that we can't escape simple apathy?

Who need worry about the Deep State when you have the deck stacked like that?
We have very capable and determined political adversaries. We need heroic efforts right now or all is lost. Really!
We need millenials! We need their youth, their ways of communicating, their talent and their dreams to fuel our cause.
We also need to think about how we can, not occupy, BUT OPT THE FUCK OUT of this facist rotting petrocorpus that our state has become. That means not just boycotting Koch Industries but all the gas stations, paper towels and chemical makers that compete with them yet fund the same politics.
This means changing the way we live our lives. How and even to what extent we conspicuously consume, experimentation and risk taking until we have the results we want.
A NEW WORLD IS STILL POSSIBLE!
But we have to build it outside of their casinos, we can't squat our way to victory.
Here's a place to start. Millions of Americans are flat-broke or very close with amazingly little security, right?
So why don't we start taking care of each other? You know, TRY SOMETHING ELSE?
