The SCOTUS rule today: there has got to be

conscientious republicans who are also appalled. I don't know. No one mentions ethics, conscience, history. Those traits used to matter.

This decision was bad for everyone.

Hell, even John McCain said this:

But Democrats and even some Republicans, like Republican Sen. John McCain, blasted the Supreme Court's decision. McCain, who has long been active in attempts at campaign-finance reforms, said he was disappointed by the decision.

"I am concerned that today's ruling may represent the latest step in an effort by a majority of the Court to dismantle entirely the longstanding structure of campaign finance law erected to limit the undue influence of special interests on American politics," McCain said. "I predict that as a result of recent Court decisions, there will be scandals involving corrupt public officials and unlimited, anonymous campaign contributions that will force the system to be reformed once again."

honor and morals?

Yea, I'm a 58 year old rube disabused of the notion that there just might be good, honorable people out there. Ha! There are, just not with people I would like to trust.

Americans will allow things to get before they'll stop to reflect. It's too scary.

I don't think he is a Republican or a Democrat. He is just a whore. And he is disappointed that his legacy of campaign finance reform has been trashed. Republicans that are conscientious aren't really republicans, not by todays standard.

before he ran for prez.

I singled him out because he's been around for so long; a rethug who thinks this went the wrong way worked for this scenario.

There has to be some people appalled that this country is going down the shitter by this decision by the SCOTUS.

He was one.
