MH370 skirted Indonesian radar....

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — Fresh information gleaned from radar data now reportedly shows that the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 had skirted Indonesian airspace likely to avoid detection on March 8.

In a breaking news report on CNN this afternoon, senior international correspondent Nick Robertson said this was confirmed by a “senior Malaysian government official”, and suggested the possibility of a more sinister reason behind MH370’s disappearance a month ago. “What this official says is that after the Malaysia Airlines flight 370 took that left-hand turn, deviated from its path to Beijing, flew across Malaysia... the official now says that they know from looking at radar data from neighbouring countries that the flight then skirted the radar airspace of Indonesia,” he said in his report from Kuala Lumpur. The Boeing 777’s flight path clearly showed that someone on the plane was piloting the aircraft in this manner to avoid detection from Indonesian radars, he added, citing the Malaysian source.

This is beginning to look like it was no accident. More like a suicide mission or perhaps political????

if that is the true flight path it seems to indicate the plane was trying to avoid radar on purpose.

speculation. They have been very clear about giving out info once or twice a day in a press conference "so everyone has the same information". I do not know if this was in reaction to the speculations, rumors, bits and pieces following this missing flight, but it has been very much appreciated by all but the media.

no need for speculation. I will note how quick the coverage has all but disappeared from wider view of people and wonder how that lack of coverage has effected donations from a wider swath.

The reporters kept asking them to speculate what happened, why, who, etc and they kept repeating themselves. The reporters were irked.

5. Ten days ago, CNN-Cable reported this "West, Northwest, South" scenario.

Since then, it has been my understanding that the investigators have been operating under the belief that the jet followed that course.

I am not sure why CNN-Web is now trumping that scenario as if it is a new premise.
