Bush proves chimps can paint

I am no art critic, but I am acquainted with outsider art where artists pursue their own weird vision. The quirks of the artist are almost more significant than the creation.

I am not one to waste breath saying anything positive about Bush, but I will say he is focused on staying active in his old age. Not known for his writing skills or his goodwill ambassadorship, or much else but being a national embarrassment, he's limited in what he can do.

He seems up to the task of painting his memories of important people he has met in a naive folk art way. No surprise there.

I am looking forward to the day he paints a series of paintings of wounded children, or prisoners at Abu Ghraib, maybe soldiers at Walter Reed or coffins being unloaded at Dover AFB -- the "blood on his hands series." I look forward to this artist's future epiphanies.

There's no doubt, he's a far better painter than he was a president.

He is moving up in the art world. If he keeps working at it, he might get better than Thomas Kinkaid.

I just wish he would have depicted Angela Merkel's expression during his impromptu back massage. BTW he looks like he's half in the bag in this picture.

by coming into DU and pretending there was ever ever ever any respect accorded to Bush from any one on this website. And do tell which other terms I am no longer allowed to use when referring to Dumbya, the shrub, the usurper, the warmonger, the coke sniffing fortunate son of a bitch lying whistle ass turned painter.

wikipedia claims you can find them all here:

actually in hiding.

Maybe not being paid big bucks for speaking, but keeping a smirking face out there. Plus maybe now even the R's can't stand to listen to him mindlessly drone on.

And his buds have been out and about also.
