Even if the electoral system were fair, we'd still only be choosing which flunkies are gonna enforce the will of the Deep Government. Yeah, we get social issues like LGBT rights, reproductive choice, etc., but only a health care plan that continues to profit the rich while providing modestly better coverage, no sanity in drug policy, no meaningful control of surveillance, continued ripoffs by the banksters, etc.

In the room the politicians sit on one side while the "throne" makers sit on the other on their throne perches. Each one has strings and each string is connected to one of their puppets on the other side of the room. Some of their puppets have so many strings one can hardly see who they are.
