Putin took Crimea in a flash but he is now taking east ukraine literally building by building.

them, and the US will be busy fighting its own citizens. Myself, I believe that will happen this year. But I'm old and will be deceased when the new SU forms.

on Monday's Chris Hayes show, the majority of the population in that region is NOT ethnic Russian--unlike Crimea. If that's the case then maybe the referendum game plan that was used in Crimea won't work this time.
