The Killer Klansman’s Missing Years as a Federal Informant

Michael Daly

White supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller, arrested in three killings Sunday, turned white opportunist when facing decades in prison, testifying against his fellow haters in two trials.

A quarter-century before he was charged with Sunday’s three hate murders outside Kansas City, Frazier Glenn Miller figured prominently in a triple hate homicide in North Carolina.

People intimately familiar with the earlier case say Miller, founder of a Ku Klux Klan chapter and a white political party, should have been a prime suspect in those killings, as well.

Instead Miller became a star witness in both that murder trial and in a sedition case against 13 fellow white supremacists.

Miller had proved himself to be not so much a white supremacist as a white opportunist when he found himself facing decades in prison on weapons charges in 1987. He has said that a lead prosecutor threatened to pile on individual sentences on various charges until they totaled 200 years.

Miller made a deal for just five years. And he would only have to serve three.

White Nationalists Reject Kansas City Suspect Frazier Glenn Miller

Don Black, founder of the online hate forum Stormfront.org, says white nationalists have long shunned the alleged killer—and it’s people like him who give the movement a bad name.

Of all the people and organizations decrying the shootings Sunday that killed three people at two Jewish centers outside Kansas City, perhaps the most unlikely is Stormfront.org, one of the oldest and largest white nationalist forums on the internet.

“We have enough of a problem with how we are portrayed without some homicidal whack job coming along and reinforcing that,” Stormfront founder Don Black told The Daily Beast.

Black has known the alleged shooter, Frazier Glenn Miller, since the early 1980s, when they were both prominent leaders in the white nationalist movement. At the time Miller was running the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, and Black, a former grand wizard of the KKK, was fresh off a three-year stint in federal prison for attempting to overthrow the government of the Caribbean island of Dominica and create an all-white state. In a post on Stormfront.org on Sunday, Black wrote that he liked Miller “but I’d noticed that he was something of an alcohol-driven blowhard. But I kept my opinion to myself, in the interest of ‘unity.’”

If he truly believed in the "cause" or whatever kind of bullshit they call it now, he would have taken one for the team. Instead, he took a cowards way out. I hope he gets life in solitary confinement to think about what he is and what he's done.

can't watch dog him better than they did?

He was a clear threat, he made no mistake of his intentions to kill Jews and he
ran for a spot in government. It's not like he was hard to find on the radar screen.

... I think this is very important, but I'm not seeing it mentioned in many of the news stories about the guy after the shooting incident in Kansas. This guy actually thought he could win a Senate seat.

about Obama brainwashing Miller to go on a killing spree so the feds could use the negative publicity to grab guns...

As if trying to gun down Jewish children and old weren't proof enough... The white supremacists are really pissed at him now. He killed three white people...didn't get him a single Jew! He must be an agent of the ZOG trying to grab their guns! (Yes, that last sentence is being bandied about on white power sites.)

The guy didn't commit a one-off robbery or assault or something on an impulse; he had a psychosocial pathology. Like a Nazi, organized hatred was his way of life. Ratting out the gang (to save his own skin) did not suddenly make him one of the good guys who deserved a big break for going straight; he was still a sicko who belonged in prison for a long time.

I don't think getting a bad name is much of a worry for the Stormfront.org neanderthals:

"I've noticed that mulattos tend to be more mentally unbalanced.

Imagine being an ape/human hybrid. You have more intelligence than an average ape but not the processes to control the apes instincts and urges. You want to mate with that female....but rules and White skinned people tell you that you can't make her.

You want to take that thing the other person has, and you can't understand why, but the White skinned people say it's wrong.

In fact, those White skinned people seem to tell you not to do the majority of what your ape genes tell you to do. You would be angry, have little self control, blame all your woes on the White skinned people, and still not understand why you do what you do.

Pure blacks are more savage. You know how they will act. Mixed are more mentally ill and unstable.

Damn, I'm glad that I'm White."
