We need to focus some energy on helping the Democratic challengers in these districts. I would love it if we could start compiling a list of the vulnerable and what we have on them.
I have no doubt the 17 most vulnerable are all pretty much scumbags. Would love to see us all pool our energy helping send these folks into early retirement. People listen when DU flexes its muscle. Lately, we mostly spar with each other. But I am certain most of us are pretty united in wanting to rid the nation of these dingleberries.
On the Issues says these 26 GOP incumbents are VULNERABLE (actually they were in 2012). They have a list of all their votes if you click on their names. Some are having re-districting problems. Others seem like easy targets because they say and do such stupid things.
If any of these folks are your local congresscritters, what can you tell us about them? Why are they vulnerable? We need to expose them to national scrutiny. Aim DU's magnifying glass on them. Let's dish some dirt, sling some mud, make some noise.
Thanks to Babylon Sister who posted this poll that said Democrats needed to flip 17 seats to take back the House: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024830667

(3,891 posts)I don't think we can do it. I'd be thrilled if I was wrong, but at this point, I think we'll be lucky, and I'm talking winning the lottery lucky to hold the Senate by one or two votes.
