Run, Sarah, Run

Well, it was only a matter of time but some Tea-Bagger group is now actively trying to promote the idea of Sarah Palin running for Senate in Alaska. Will Sarah give them what they really want or just suck more of their hard-earned money out of their wallets?

In the words of the classic Far Side cartoon where a dog is trying to lure a cat into a clothes-dryer - "Oh please, Oh Please".

More like trust-fund baby money, or golden parachute money, or oil money, or insider trading stock tip money, or real estate merger money, or inheritance money, etc. But hard-earned? Probably not so much.

She wants to be a celebrity , more money in it. That's why she left the Governors job to begin with

When she first became Governor she was the most popular Governor in the USA but it didn't take long for her to screw the pooch and her popularity plummeted. In fact it got so bad she had to quit. She couldn't take it any more...I doubt very seriously that Alaskans would ever elect her to any office ever again.

carpet bagging Dan Sullivan (who has a campaign ad with Condi Rice endorsing him) and milquetoast Mead Treadwell running in the R primary. I guess if Sarah wants to jump in, too, she can. Let these guys beat each other up in the primary, and Mark Begich can cruise to victory.
